Still Not Sold on These Broncos
I usually follow a 'Say it Out Loud' policy before making big decisions in my life. That same policy goes for the tendency to have a knee jerk reaction when the unexpected or hard to explain happens in sports.

Top Five NFL teams that should be allowed to cheat
I don’t know why, but people are usually suckers for Top Five Lists. It doesn’t matter if it’s movies, restaurants, cities to live in, or most attractive people in Hollywood, someone’s curiosity is bound to be piqued. And I feel that way about lists in sports like all time best NBA shooting guards or top 5 MLB hitters. Sure enough, SportingNews has a Top Five List for top rivalries in the NFL. And being a notorious Cowboys fan (and NFC aficionado) I of course was fascinated to see their rivalry with the Redskins at the top of the list. So in the spirit of great lists, I wanted to put together my own list. I have created a Top Five List of NFL teams that should be allowed to cheat. That’s right, teams that find themselves in such a pathetic state (not ownership, just the team itself) that they should be allowed to pull a “ New England ” for the rest of the year (Yes I have renamed it because I think SpyGate references something many people don’t know about and or remember). So check out these teams:
Kansas City Chiefs 0-3 doesn’t begin to explain how far they are at the other end of the spectrum in their division. They have a lame duck coach in Herman E dwards who likely will be fired at the end of the season, arguably their top offensive threat in Larry Johnson is seeking a trade, and it appears obvious that they have not found their heir apparent to Trent Green in Brodie Croyle, who can’t seem to stay healthy enough to prove me wrong. Add to the fact that Philip Rivers and Jay Cutler both play in their division and the fact that the Raiders, despite Al Davis, have looked more competitive the last 2 years, and the future of this team looks dim.
St Louis Rams The Rams (also 0-3) have a quarterback in Marc Bulger who has regressed in the past 3 years largely due to poor line protection. It's been noted in various media outlets that Bulger no longer prefers playing for Scott Linehan. Stephen Jackson, who was given a substantial amount of money in the offseason has turned from blaming fans for their poor start to joining in on blasting Linehan. Now their answer is to turn to the concussion-less, at least for the moment, Trent Green who couldn’t make it as a Dolphin.
Cincinnati Bengals Does someone want to explain to me how a team that has Carson Palmer, Chad Johnson (I’m not calling him Ocho Cinco), and T.J. Houshmanzadeh has managed to average only 13.3 points per game? Or why Chris Henry doesn’t have a catch? Or why I am even referencing Henry anyway, seeing as how he was cut by this team earlier this year? Or why this offense is struggling to find its identity? I’d say maybe they should steal one, but that would be poor taste given their past transgressions.
Cleveland Browns It seems unfair to throw the Browns under the bus, particularly because they didn’t deserve the hype that they received during the off season anyway. But this team stinks. They don’t play defense, they don’t run the ball well enough (or for that matter long enough). And their vertical offense has been non existent to say the least. I can’t really evaluate Derek Anderson, especially if Braylon Edwards keeps vying with T.O. for most dropped passes in the league.
New England Patriots ? I know this might sound down right absurd. But this team just lost to the Miami Dolphins, at home, in resounding fashion. I know they they were starting Matt Cassel but they lost by 25 point. Worse yet they allowed Joey Porter to come off sounding like a prophet with his prediction of a Dolphin’s victory. They have been exposed as an old, poorly coached team during last weeks game (yes I’m going to say that, given they were fooled by the “wildcat formation” on 4 different occasions) that can no longer rely on their “Belichick System” to win games. I question that even with Tom Brady, this team would still struggle, particularly if they don’t have the opposing offense’s signals streaming through Brady’s helmet. And if you think I’m crazy, consider the fact that the patriots were booed when they came out at half-time. It’s kind sad that this team which perfected the art of cheating in sports is in the situation of relying on a guy who has never started any place in his career.
