Jerry's going to be Jerry with Ezekiel Elliot Suspension

ESPN'S Adam Schefter has recently reported that Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot has received a six-game suspension after the NFL's year long investigation regarding allegations of domestic abuse.

This case has polarized many, including those within the Cowboys organization because Elliot was never charged because the alleged victim was not found to be a credible source by authorities.

Because of the nature of the allegations support for Elliot seems to be shrinking each day.  But one person who has remained steadfast in his support of Elliot has been Jerry Jones, and don't expect Jerrah to sit on the sidelines (pardon my pun) and accept the punishment the NFL has chosen to proceed with against the star running back.

You can call Jerry many things (huckster, snake oil sailsman, maverick) but one thing you can't call him is unintelligent.  Jerry went out on a limb to adamantly deny that there is no evidence that warrants any disciplinary action and you can bet the Hall of Fame owner is willing to put his money where his mouth is.

Lest we forget that this is the same owner who went toe to toe with the league in his stance against revunue sharing, and won.

In life there are no sure things but if you were to bet that Jones will fight the NFL'S decision, you might want to place your wager.

As a Cowboys fan (but not a betting man) I like those odds.
